The community of River Lake can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

River Lake is especially car friendly. Parking is generally easy. Getting around on foot is not very convenient for property owners in River Lake because most daily needs are almost impossible to carry out without a vehicle. River Lake is a great community to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. River Lake is especially quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Public green spaces aren't well-spread out, making it very hard to reach them.
