The community of Lower Sackville is situated within the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Lower Sackville. Parking is generally easy, and many homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. However, the public transit system in Lower Sackville is not very accessible. Thankfully, property owners are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Lower Sackville is not especially bike-friendly because there are few bike lanes, and cyclists are faced with quite a few elevation changes. Walking is also not very practical for house buyers in Lower Sackville since most daily needs are occasionally difficult to carry out without having to use a car.

Services

Schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from anywhere in Lower Sackville. At the primary level, both public and private schools can be found. Concerning eating, getting to the closest grocery store on foot is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in Lower Sackville. However, house buyers won't have to look far to take advantage of the closest cafe, and residents of this part of Halifax benefit from about 20 restaurants as well.
