The community of Greenwood is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is an extraordinarily good part of Halifax for driving. It is very easy to come across a place to park. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Halifax are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who prefer to travel by walking as running daily errands is very challenging without the use of a vehicle.
