Cars are a great transportation option in this area. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot. This community is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot because almost no common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle. Moving around by bicycle is also challenging in this part of the municipality as there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of slopes.

Character

Grand Desert is very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. It is occasionally difficult to get to parks in the community since they aren't well-situated. Still, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to relax in.

Housing

Single detached homes and row houses are the predominant housing type in Grand Desert. This community offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes. About 85% of the units in the community are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented.
