The neighbourhood of Glengarry is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very easy in Glengarry. It is very convenient to park. However, getting around by transit can be difficult in Glengarry by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. This part of the municipality is very bicycling-friendly. It is very inconvenient for people walking to navigate Glengarry because very few daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle.

Services

In Glengarry, families will typically be able to reach primary schools by walking. However, there are no high schools in Glengarry. When it comes to eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required in this neighbourhood to reach the nearest grocery store.
