This community is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot. On the other hand, public transit users may have few choices in this part of the municipality by reason of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Fergusons Cove is not very suited for bicycling as there are few bike lanes, and cyclists encounter a considerable amount of hills. This part of the municipality is also not very conducive to walking because almost no daily needs can be carried out by walking.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Fergusons Cove. Furthermore, daycares are not plentiful and accordingly may require a very long walk to get to. Concerning food, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in this part of Halifax to travel to the nearest supermarket on foot.
