Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Eaglewood. It is very convenient to find a place to park, and the majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, Eaglewood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. It is sometimes challenging to travel by bike in Eaglewood because cyclists are faced with quite a few hills, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive. It is also challenging for people walking to move around in this area as very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Parents and their children will find that wherever their house is located in this area, primary schools are close by. However, Eaglewood does not contain any high schools. Regarding food, the closest supermarket in this part of Halifax is generally only a reasonably short walk away.
