The neighbourhood of Eaglewood is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this part of Halifax. Nearby highways are easy to drive to from anywhere in Eaglewood, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, commuting by public transit is difficult in Eaglewood. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. It is at times difficult to commute by bicycle in Eaglewood because there are few bike lanes, and riding is rendered strenuous by the typically steep area. Eaglewood is also not very conducive to those who get around as pedestrians since very few daily errands can be run without a car.

Services

It is a short trip to get to primary schools from anywhere in Eaglewood. However, this part of the municipality does not contain any high schools. With respect to eating, the closest grocery store in this area is generally only a rather short trip away.

Character

Eaglewood offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are a few green spaces nearby for residents to discover and they are very well-situated, which makes it easy to reach them. This area is especially quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
