Transportation

The preferred approach to get around in this part of Halifax is very often driving. It is very convenient to access a parking spot. The bike is a rather limited mode of transportation in Clam Bay as the bicycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of hills. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of Halifax are located in areas that are also not very suitable for those who travel by foot as most daily needs are almost impossible to meet without the use of a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Clam Bay. As far as eating is concerned, in all cases, a car is needed to do groceries.
