Bedford Hills is very car friendly. The majority of real estate listings are a short car ride from the closest highway, and parking is easy. On the other hand, the public transit network in Bedford Hills is not very accessible. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Bicycling is challenging in Bedford Hills because there are few bike lanes, and there is a considerable amount of slopes. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very convenient for walking as running daily errands is inconvenient.

Services

Accessing the closest grocery store on foot is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in Bedford Hills. A limited number of restaurants are available in this part of Halifax as well. As far as education is concerned, parents and their schoolchildren will welcome the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, properties for sale in this part of the municipality.
