Bedford Hills is particularly car friendly. Most homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, and parking is generally easy. On the other hand, residents using public transit may find limited choices in Bedford Hills by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Bedford Hills is not very conducive to people who like to get around as pedestrians since very few common errands can be run without a vehicle. Bedford Hills is also not very cycling-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and riding is made difficult by the typically sloping topography.
