This neighbourhood is an extraordinarily good part of Halifax for travelling by car. It is very convenient to find a parking spot, and it is a rather short drive to the nearest highway from any home in Africville. However, the public transit service in this part of Halifax is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
