The neighbourhood of Shipyard is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is very car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to reach from anywhere in Shipyard, and it is very convenient to park. It is sometimes difficult for pedestrians to navigate Shipyard as few daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle. However, it is easy to get around by bicycle in this area.

Services

In this area, families will almost always be able to access daycares and primary schools on foot. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of the municipality. In terms of food, it is challenging to reach the closest supermarket on foot from anywhere in this neighbourhood. Likewise, there are a few restaurants and 0 coffee shops to enjoy in this area.
