Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, New Victoria is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This area is an extremely good part of Cape Breton Municipality for getting around by car. Coming across a place to park is quite easy. The bicycle is a rather poor method of transportation in this part of Cape Breton Municipality since there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes. Getting around on foot is also not very feasible for property owners in this community because running common errands is inconvenient without a car.

Services

This part of Cape Breton Municipality does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. With respect to eating, doing one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in New Victoria.

Character

New Victoria offers a relaxed ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This part of the municipality is quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, it is easy to get to public green spaces from a large number of locations within the community, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy and most houses for sale have a park very close by.

The buildings in this community are quite old, because about one third of its dwellings were constructed pre-1960, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. This community is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
