Transportation

Driving is a great medium of transportation in Grand Lake Road. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways are easy to reach from any location in this part of Cape Breton. This community is not very suitable for walking since carrying out daily needs is challenging on foot.

Services

Grand Lake Road does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In addition, it can be very hard to walk to daycares from homes for sale in this community. With regards to food, reaching the nearest grocery store on foot is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in Grand Lake Road. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes can be found as well.

Character

Grand Lake Road is fairly good for those who like quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some parts can be quite loud, especially closer to the railway line.
