The community of Grand Lake Road is located within the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the municipality. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot, and most real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway. Biking is challenging in this area because the cycling infrastructure is rather limited, and there are a fair number of hills. Most homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are also not particularly convenient for pedestrians because few daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle.
