Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, French Road is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in French Road. It is very convenient to come across a place to park. Bicycling is difficult in French Road because the cycling network is quite bad, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to get around in this community as many day-to-day needs are nearly impossible to meet without a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. With respect to eating, it is very rarely practical for property owners in French Road to access the closest supermarket without needing to get in a vehicle.

Character

French Road is a very good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels in this area are very low, as the streets are very tranquil. Finally, although the community does not contain any green spaces, parks aren't well-spread out in nearby communities, which makes them very easy to get to.
