Gabarus

Part of the Cape Breton metropolitan area, Gabarus is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in this part of the municipality. It is especially convenient to park. Gabarus is not very conducive to those who travel as pedestrians because meeting daily needs is practically impossible without a vehicle. Moving around by bicycle is also challenging in this community as the area is not especially flat, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

Gabarus does not have any high schools or primary schools. With respect to food, in all cases, a vehicle is needed to do groceries.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Gabarus. This area is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Finally, there are a few parks nearby for residents to visit, like Lever's Lake Beach, which makes them very easy to reach.
