White Hills

Situated within the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, White Hills is a neighbourhood in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

The car is usually the favoured approach to navigate White Hills. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and parking is easy. However, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in White Hills as meeting daily needs is challenging without the use of a car. This part of St. John's is also not very appropriate for cycling since bicycling is made strenuous by the often hilly terrain, and the bicycling network is not very extensive.

Services

In White Hills, families will commonly be able to access primary schools by walking. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. With respect to food, some, but not all, home buyers in this part of the city will live within a short distance of the nearest grocery store.
