Government House is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is situated in the Greater St. John's metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is convenient to move around by bicycle in Government House. Most homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also quite well-suited for walking; many daily errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle. The best approach to navigate Government House is usually a car. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways are very easy to access from anywhere in this neighbourhood. However, residents using public transit may find limited choices in Government House due to the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most residences.

Services

It is very easy to access the nearest supermarket on foot in Government House. Moreover, there are a fair number of opportunities in close proximity for those who care about restaurants and cafes.
