Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in this area. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, public transit users may have few options in this part of St. John's as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. This area is not especially conducive to biking because the cycling network is fairly poor, and bicycling is made strenuous by the often hilly area. Walking is also not very popular in this part of the city, despite the fact that many daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle.

Services

It is convenient to get to the closest supermarket on foot from most houses for sale in this area. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and cafes as well. When it comes to education, schools and daycares are easy to get to on foot from anywhere in Waterford Valley.

Waterford Valley is good for those who like quiet areas, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - however some parts can be quite noisy, especially near None.
