The neighbourhood of Waterford Valley can be found in the city of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is located in the Greater St. John's metropolitan area.

Transportation

Waterford Valley is an extraordinarily good part of St. John's for driving. Parking is easy, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this area. However, residents using public transit may find limited choices in Waterford Valley as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. Bicycling is occasionally challenging in this part of St. John's since riding a bike is made strenuous by the often steep topography, and the cycling network is fairly poor. Walking is also not very popular in this part of the city, although many day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle.
