Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, East Meadows is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured means of transportation in East Meadows. Many homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans Canada Highway, and parking is generally easy. However, East Meadows is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Bicycling is at times difficult in East Meadows as the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a good number of elevation changes. Walking is also not especially practical for house buyers in East Meadows because many day-to-day needs are at times challenging to carry out without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Getting to the closest grocery store on foot is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in East Meadows. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity.
