Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, Bally Haly is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred method to navigate Bally Haly. It is a very short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this part of St. John's, and it is straightforward to find a place to park. On the other hand, Bally Haly is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. Walking is not particularly practical for property owners in this neighbourhood because carrying out day-to-day needs is at times difficult. The bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in this part of the city because there are few bike lanes, and riding is rendered arduous by the often steep topography.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are easy to walk to from anywhere in Bally Haly. In contrast, families may find it difficult for their kids to access daycares as a pedestrian.
