Transportation

Sand Cove is an extremely convenient part of Saint John for moving around by car. It is a very short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this area, and parking is easy. However, Sand Cove is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. It is at times difficult for people walking to move around in Sand Cove because many daily needs are sometimes challenging to carry out without the use of a vehicle. The bicycle is a rather poor means of transportation in this part of the city because cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is not particularly comprehensive.
