North End

Part of the Greater Saint John metropolitan area, North End is a neighbourhood within Saint John, New Brunswick.

Transportation

It is convenient to travel by bike in this part of the city. North End is also well-suited for those who travel by foot; many common errands can be run without the use of a car. This area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. On the other hand, commuting by car is straightforward in this part of the city. It is convenient to park, and it is a short car ride to the closest highway from any location in North End.

Services

In this part of Saint John, parents and their kids will generally be able to access daycares and primary schools on foot. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. Residents have the choice between public and private elementary schools. With respect to food, it is usually possible for home buyers in this area to do grocery shopping by walking. Residents are served by about 10 restaurants and cafes as well.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy North End. This area is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour around the railway line. Lastly, getting to public green spaces from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood, like Parc Shamrock Park, is easy since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit.
