Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Ridgedale. Nearby highways are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this area, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, Ridgedale is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Even though the topography is reasonably flat, the bicycle is a sometimes poor means of transportation in this part of Winnipeg because the cycling infrastructure is not particularly comprehensive. Ridgedale is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot since few daily needs can be met without having to resort to a car.
