Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Cypress is a neighbourhood within West Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

The preferred way to move around in Cypress is usually driving. It is very convenient to park, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from any location in Cypress. In contrast, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Walking is not very convenient for property owners in this neighbourhood since running day-to-day errands is inconvenient. Travelling by bicycle is also at times challenging in this area as there are very few bike lanes, and cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of slopes.

Services

Parents and their children will value that no matter where their house is situated in Cypress, daycares and primary schools are nearby. In contrast, this part of the municipality does not contain any high schools. With respect to eating, home buyers in Cypress almost always need a car to travel to the nearest supermarket.
