The neighbourhood of Fairview can be found in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an excellent neighbourhood with respect to getting around without driving. The public transit system in Fairview is very convenient owing to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Canada Line, and around 20 nearby bus lines. Fairview is also especially suitable for those who travel by foot; carrying out daily needs is very convenient, and innumerable businesses of different types can be found as well. Physically active house buyers will enjoy the very bicycling-friendly character of Fairview. For instance, there is always a bike-share station in proximity, and the bicycling network is reasonably extensive.

Services

House buyers in Fairview will welcome that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away. There are about 20 grocery stores in this part of the city, and the best variety can be found on streets such as Cambie Street. Likewise, thanks to 150-odd restaurants and cafes in Fairview, there is typically a spot to get a meal or a beverage just around the corner, for instance on 4th Avenue.
