Aldergrove is a neighbourhood within Township of Langley, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is often the preferred method to get around in Aldergrove. Parking is generally easy. However, the public transit network in Aldergrove is rather limited. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Aldergrove is not especially conducive to bicycling since there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of slopes. It is also sometimes difficult for people travelling on foot to navigate Aldergrove as few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

In Aldergrove, parents and their schoolchildren will typically be able to access daycares and schools by walking. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. With respect to food, the closest supermarket in Aldergrove is typically only a short walk away. A small selection of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well.

Character

Aldergrove is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. This part of the municipality is very quiet, as the streets are generally very peaceful. Finally, green spaces, such as Philip Jackman Park and Aldergrove Community Secondary, are very well-distributed and there are about 20 of them close by for residents to enjoy, which makes them easy to access.
