Chief Lake is a neighbourhood within Prince George, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Prince George metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred method to navigate this neighbourhood is very often driving. Most properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. However, travelling by public transit is very hard in Chief Lake. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and it is easy to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. This neighbourhood is not very suitable for those who travel by foot as running common errands is impractical. The bike is a rather poor mode of transportation in Chief Lake as there are a good number of hills, and this area is home to a quite bad cycling infrastructure.

Services

There are only a limited number of primary schools in this neighbourhood and therefore they can be a rather long walk away. In addition, Chief Lake does not contain any high schools. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. With regards to eating, house buyers in Chief Lake almost always have to use a car to travel to the closest supermarket.

The character of Chief Lake is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
