Situated within the Greater Prince George metropolitan area, Chief Lake is a neighbourhood within Prince George, British Columbia.

Transportation

The best transportation option in this part of the city is very often driving. Nearby highways are easy to reach from any home in this area, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, getting around by public transit is very difficult in this area. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Moving around by bicycle is challenging in this part of the city as there are very few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very feasible for property owners in this neighbourhood since most daily needs are inconvenient to meet without a vehicle.

Services

A car is almost always needed in Chief Lake to reach the nearest supermarket. There are a few choices for those who care about restaurants in close proximity. Concerning education, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this neighbourhood and therefore they can be a rather long walk away. In addition, Chief Lake does not have any high schools.

Character

The character of Chief Lake is exemplified by its calm ambience. This area is quiet, as the streets tend to be reasonably peaceful. Finally, there are a few parks close by for residents to explore, including Ferguson Lake Nature Reserve, which makes it easy to reach them.

Housing
