Departure Bay is a neighbourhood within Nanaimo, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Nanaimo metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured way to navigate this area is usually driving. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. However, the public transit system in Departure Bay is not very accessible. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes.
