Yennadon

The neighbourhood of Yennadon is part of the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured transportation option in Yennadon. It is very convenient to park. In contrast, travelling by transit can be challenging in this neighbourhood as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Getting around by walking is not very feasible for house buyers in Yennadon since few daily errands can be run without a vehicle. The bicycle is a sometimes poor mode of transportation in Yennadon because the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the area is not especially flat.

Services

It is a rather short trip to access daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, parents may consider it challenging for their children to get to high schools by walking. In addition to public schools, there are private elementary and secondary schools. This neighbourhood is also reasonably good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.

Housing

Homeowners occupy roughly 85% of the units in Yennadon and the remainder are rented. Single detached homes are the main housing type, representing most dwellings in this part of the city, while duplexes are also present in the housing stock. Roughly 30% of homes in this area were built in the 1990s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
