White Rock is a neighbourhood within White Rock, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are suitable for walking; running daily errands is convenient. However, White Rock is not especially bike-friendly since the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and riding is made difficult by the typically sloping terrain. The preferred way to move around in White Rock is often driving. It is convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in White Rock is not particularly frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby.

Services

It is a short walk to get to daycares and schools from any location in this neighbourhood. Besides public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. As far as eating is concerned, it is straightforward to reach the closest grocery store on foot in this area. Johnston Road is among the best streets for groceries. In addition, a coffee shop is usually a rather short walk away, and there are also a limited number of choices for those who value close by restaurants.

Character

White Rock is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. This area is very quiet overall, as the streets are very tranquil. Lastly, it is easy to access green spaces from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood since there are around 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in.

Roughly two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas renters make up the remainder.
