Tempe

Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Tempe is a neighbourhood within City of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Traveling as a pedestrian is rather feasible for home buyers in Tempe; many common errands can be run without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby. The bicycle is a good method of transportation in this part of the city since there are a fair number of bike lanes. Commuting by public transit is at times difficult in this area. Nevertheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. In contrast, the car is usually the preferred method to navigate this area. It is easy to come across a parking spot, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from anywhere in this neighbourhood.

Services

It is a short stroll to get to schools and daycares from anywhere in Tempe. As far as eating is concerned, it is typically feasible for home buyers in this neighbourhood to buy general and specialty groceries without a car. Likewise, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner.

Character

The character of Tempe is exemplified by its calm ambience. This part of the city is good for those who need quiet surroundings, as the streets tend to be reasonably tranquil - although that is not the case closer to Trans-Canada Highway.
