South Surrey is a neighbourhood within Surrey, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are moderately convenient for those who travel on foot; most daily needs are easy to meet without a car. Biking is also convenient in South Surrey as there are a fair number of bike lanes. Public transit users may have few options in this area by reason of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, there are about 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. However, driving is a very good medium of transportation in this area. It is convenient to park, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 99, from anywhere in South Surrey.

Services

In South Surrey, parents and their schoolchildren will generally be able to access both primary and secondary schools by walking. Parents benefit from public and private schools at both the primary and high school level. However, daycares are not especially numerous and consequently tend to require a rather long stroll to get to. With regards to eating, it is typically possible for property owners in South Surrey to shop for their groceries by foot. There are also a limited number of options for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes within a short distance.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced environment will enjoy South Surrey. This part of the city is very quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.
