Sea Island is a neighbourhood within Richmond, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sea Island is a very pleasant part of Richmond for cyclists. More specifically, there are numerous bike lanes. This part of the city will also appeal to people who want to live in a compact community as it is fairly walkable; running common errands is convenient without a vehicle, and many businesses are moderately close by. The transit infrastructure in Sea Island is somewhat poor. Nonetheless, the closest rapid transit station, including YVR-Airport Station @ Platform 1, Templeton Station @ Platform 2 and Templeton Station @ Platform 1 on the Canada Line, is ordinarily within walking distance from most properties in the neighbourhood. House owners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most properties. In contrast, driving is an excellent means of transportation in Sea Island. It is very easy to find a parking spot.

Services

Families will appreciate that wherever their home is situated in Sea Island, daycares are close by. In contrast, this area does not contain any primary schools or high schools. When it comes to food, in vast majority cases, a car is needed in Sea Island to access the closest grocery store. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically easy to reach without a vehicle and supply some basic food items. Those who like to eat in restaurants will have a fair number of choices, and house buyers can enjoy a few cafes as well.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Sea Island, despite its sometimes busy ambience.
