Situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Ruskin is a neighbourhood within Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

Transportation

Ruskin is an extremely good part of Maple Ridge for travelling by car. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, this area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily within walking distance. This part of Maple Ridge is not particularly bike-friendly because the cycling network is quite bad, and cyclists are faced with a significant amount of elevation changes. It is also very inconvenient for people walking to navigate Ruskin as most daily needs are very inconvenient to carry out without the use of a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Ruskin. Furthermore, families may find it very hard for their kids to reach daycares on foot. Concerning eating, shopping for one's groceries very often necessitates the use of a car in Ruskin.

Character

Ruskin is very good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Green spaces are distributed sporadically, making them occasionally hard to get to. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to discover, including Ruskin.
