The neighbourhood of Highlands can be found in the municipality of District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of District of North Vancouver is rather well-suited for people who prefer to get around as pedestrians; running common errands is convenient without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Highlands is also fairly bike-friendly. The transit network in this area is not very practical. Nevertheless, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, this part of District of North Vancouver is very car friendly. Parking is quite easy, and many houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway.

Services

Families will appreciate that no matter where their house is located in Highlands, daycares and primary schools are nearby. However, this part of District of North Vancouver does not have any high schools.
