Transportation

Fairview is an excellent area with regards to getting around without a car. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Vancouver are located in places that are very suitable for people who travel on foot; running common errands is especially convenient without the use of a car, and a variety of businesses are especially close at hand. Riding a bike is very adopted in Fairview as bike-share stations are rarely more than a few blocks away, and the cycling network is good. With a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Canada Line, and approximately 20 nearby bus lines, homeowners can count on public transit to move around in Fairview. However, cars are a rather limited transportation option in this part of Vancouver as accessing a place to park is not very easy.
