Travelling on foot is also practical for house buyers in East Richmond; many daily needs can be met without needing to use a vehicle. The favoured way to navigate East Richmond is very often a car. Most houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 91, and it is convenient to come across a place to park. However, the public transit service in this area is not particularly frequent. Nonetheless, residents are served by around 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop.
