Moving around by bicycle is also convenient in this area. Deer Lake is a fairly pleasant part of Burnaby for travelling by public transit. In particular, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Commuting by car is also straightforward in Deer Lake.
