Transportation

Regardless of the mode of transportation, it is quite easy to travel in Deer Lake. Active home buyers will welcome the quite walk-friendly character of this part of Burnaby; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are nearby. Moving around by bicycle is also convenient in this area. Deer Lake is a fairly pleasant part of Burnaby for travelling by public transit. In particular, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Commuting by car is also straightforward in Deer Lake. It is easy to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway.

Services

It is a rather short walk to reach primary schools and daycares from anywhere in Deer Lake. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Deer Lake.
