The neighbourhood of Thornhill is part of the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred method to get around in Thornhill. Finding a parking spot is generally easy. However, the public transit service in Thornhill is fairly poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. The bike is a sometimes poor method of transportation in Thornhill because there are quite a few hills, and the bicycling network is not very extensive. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to move around in this part of Maple Ridge because carrying out daily needs is very difficult on foot.

Services
