Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Aberdeen. It is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit in Aberdeen is not very accessible. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a sometimes poor method of transportation in Aberdeen since the cycling network is not especially well-developed, and bicycling is made difficult by the typically steep topography. This area is also not very suitable for those who prefer to get around by walking because many day-to-day needs are inconvenient to meet without a car.
