The neighbourhood of Aberdeen is part of the city of Kamloops, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area.

Transportation

Aberdeen is especially car friendly. The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Pacific Offramp Way, and coming across a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, the public transit system in Aberdeen is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. It is occasionally difficult to commute by bike in Aberdeen as there are quite a few slopes, and the cycling infrastructure is not particularly comprehensive. Aberdeen is also not very convenient for pedestrians as very few common errands can be run without a car.

Services

A vehicle is almost always needed in Aberdeen to access the closest supermarket. Residents of this neighbourhood can enjoy about 10 restaurants as well. As far as education is concerned, parents and their children will appreciate the proximity to daycares and primary schools, which are within walking distance from most homes for sale in this area. On the other hand, Aberdeen does not have any high schools.

Character
