Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured method to get around in Westwood. Parking is easy, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Nanaimo Parkway, from anywhere in this part of the city. However, commuting by public transit is difficult in Westwood. Thankfully, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally around the corner. This part of Nanaimo is rather appropriate for biking. Westwood is not very conducive to pedestrians because running common errands is at times challenging without the use of a car.
