Situated in the Greater Chilliwack metropolitan area, Village West is a neighbourhood within Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Transportation

Village West is an extraordinarily convenient part of Chilliwack for driving. Parking is generally easy, and many properties for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. However, this part of Chilliwack is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Travelling by foot in this part of Chilliwack is not very common, despite the fact that many daily needs are easy to carry out by walking. Village West is also not very amenable to bicycling as there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills. Thankfully, some bicycling-friendly sectors can be found.

Services

Primary schools are convenient to access on foot from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood. However, Village West does not contain any high schools. In terms of food, a portion of house buyers in Village West may be able to travel to the closest grocery store on foot, while others will have to rely on another means of transportation.
