Chilliwack Proper is a community in the Greater Chilliwack metropolitan area, which is in the province of British Columbia, Canada.

Transportation

Cars are a very good transportation option in Chilliwack Proper. It is very convenient to park. However, the public transit system in Chilliwack Proper is rather poor. Nonetheless, residents benefit from about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. It is at times challenging for pedestrians to get around in Chilliwack Proper since few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

House buyers in this part of Skwahla 2 will value that a grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. There are also a limited number of choices for those who appreciate close by restaurants and cafes. As far as education is concerned, parents and their children will value the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in this part of Skwahla 2.

Character

Chilliwack Proper is fairly good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are generally calm - however some parts can be quite loud, especially close to the airport (YCW), one of the railway lines or Trans-Canada Highway. Parks aren't well-situated, which makes them very difficult to access from most locations within this area.
