Located within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Cleveland is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is a very good means of transportation in this area. It is very easy to park. However, the public transit network in Cleveland is rather limited. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. The bike is a reasonably good method of transportation in this area. Travelling on foot is not very feasible for home buyers in Cleveland as running daily errands is impractical by walking.

Services

In this part of District of North Vancouver, families will usually be able to get to primary schools and daycares on foot. On the other hand, Cleveland does not contain any high schools. Regarding eating, the nearest supermarket in this area is generally only a reasonably short walk away. Residents of this part of the municipality are served by a few restaurants as well.

Character

Cleveland is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. This part of the municipality is very quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Finally, it is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to explore.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing roughly 80% of buildings in Cleveland, while the rest are mainly duplexes. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. About 85% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas the rest are rented. Around 40% of homes in this part of the municipality were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
