Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Capilano is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

It is convenient for people walking to navigate this part of District of North Vancouver; many daily needs are easy to carry out on foot. Cycling is also convenient in Capilano because. Residents using public transit may find few choices in this part of the municipality by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. In contrast, Capilano is an extremely good part of District of North Vancouver for moving around by car. Finding a parking spot is generally easy, and the majority of properties for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway.

Services

It is easy to reach the nearest grocery store on foot from most properties for sale in Capilano. There are also a few opportunities for those who value restaurants within walking distance. In terms of education, in this area, parents and their schoolchildren will generally be able to get to primary schools and daycares on foot. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Capilano.

The character of Capilano is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Most areas in this neighbourhood are reasonably quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Trans-Canada Highway. Lastly, green spaces, like Murdo Frazer Park, are very well-situated and there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to enjoy, making it very easy to reach them.
